Joe has been a portfolio manager and analyst at Summit Creek Advisors since its founding.  Previously, Joe was responsible for the small cap team at Winslow Capital Management (growing the product to over $700 million in assets).  Prior to Winslow Capital, Joe was employed by Baird Capital Management and FIRMCO (Firstar Investment Research and Management Company) both in Milwaukee.  For over 12 years at FIRMCO, Joe was responsible for the Emerging Growth Fund “C” and the Micro Cap Fund including all related individually managed institutional and personal trust relationships.  Assets under management approximated $1.2 billion.   Joe was sole or lead portfolio manager on both products from inception until his departure.  Joe earned his undergraduate degrees in Finance and Economics and his MBA in Finance and Investments from the University of Wisconsin where he was a participant in the Applied Security Analysis Program.  Joe has 39 years of investment management experience.
